Who We Are
CACED stands for the Coalition of Associations for Community and Education Development, Dogon Dawa.
CACED is a coalition platform. It strengthens cooperation among existing associations and stakeholders without erasing their independence or replacing legitimate public responsibilities.
Existing associations bring their own identities, knowledge, relationships and responsibilities. CACED's collaborative approach brings these community strengths into shared development work.
Local knowledge, skills, resources and lived experience are the starting point. External support should complement community participation.
Public accounts of programmes, projects and results must be supported by records, review and evidence.
