Privacy and personal information

CACED aims to collect only the information needed to receive, review and respond to inquiries and concerns.

What we collect and why

When you send an inquiry, feedback or complaint, CACED receives the topic and message so it can review and route the matter. You can submit without reply details. If you ask for a reply and give consent, your name and email are stored separately from the main submission. Complaint contact details are kept in a restricted record. Do not include passwords, bank details or personal information that is not needed to explain your concern.

Use and access

Information is used to assess the submission, coordinate an appropriate response and maintain an accountable record. Access is limited by the platform according to staff permissions; complaint contact details require separate authority and an additional authentication step. Information is not published merely because it was submitted to CACED.

Retention and security

Reply details are optional and collected only when you ask CACED to respond. The platform provides a restricted review process for personal-data records, but CACED has not represented a single retention period as formally adopted. Records are not automatically erased after an assumed period. Access to restricted contact details is recorded for audit.

Privacy questions and requests

To raise a privacy concern or request, choose “Other” and identify your message as a privacy request. Share only the information needed for CACED to understand it. CACED may need to verify the request before acting. Authorized staff can record a received request in a separate restricted case workflow; the contact form itself does not create or track that case.
